Sometimes, more is more. That was our approach when it came to upgrading our bill pay feature. When we first launched bill pay earlier this year, we wanted to give our users more—more efficiency when it came to paying their bills, more ways to use their Fluz balance, and more options to maximize their money.
As users started to set up their bill pay, however, our team discovered some areas of improvement. Now, with these upgrades in place, Fluz users can truly do more with bill pay.
Going from good to great
While the original version of our bill pay tool got the job done, we’ll admit, it had its limits. Common user feedback highlighted:
- The limited catalogue of eligible billers
- A confusing layout, making it difficult to locate and track sent payments
- The lack of personalization options like setting a nickname for a biller
- The inability to pay off a business card
On their own, these insights might be small hurdles, but together, they presented a real obstacle for users trying to manage their payments with ease and confidence. With that in mind, we were determined to make meaningful improvements.
Expanded biller catalog, cleaner design, and smarter tools
We upgraded bill pay experience to eliminate friction and give users the tools they actually need to confidently and conveniently pay their bills. To tackle one of the major pieces of feedback, our team dramatically expanded the catalog of eligible billers. But, we didn’t stop there. We also added new functionality allowing users to manually look up and add their own billers if they don’t see them listed.
Other bill pay improvements include:
- Adding bank-issued cards as funding sources: If your bill is tied to a bank-issued card, you can now add it as a funding source.
- An intuitive, streamlined design: The new bill pay experience is efficient and well-organized, making it super easy to track payments with ease.
- Using bill pay for business cards: The improved bill pay system now supports business card payments.
More Ways to Pay, Less Work to Do
We knew there was room for improvement, so we listened closely to what our users had to say. Every update in the new bill pay experience is a direct response to that feedback. The result is a bill pay experience made to give you more of what matters—more control, more flexibility and more convenience. Because when it comes to managing your payments, more really is more.
