FAQs
Who is responsible for the inventory buying?
Fluz will handle all inventory buying and vendor negotiations. If required, Fluz will pre-purchase any inventory needed for this site.
Are there additional contracts?
Yes. We have a marketplace agreement that will be executed prior to the build out of any store fronts.
Do I need to have a blog?
No. We can set up your store front with just products from our catalog.
Can I use my own payment processor?
Unfortunately, our solution is built to use our entire payments, support and risk stack. We will manage the entire process so that we can apply commissions to your Fluz account.
How does the payment processing work?
Once you execute the marketplace agreement with Fluz, we will secure a merchant account for you with one of our partners. We will handle the full set up and implementation. Funds will be split between your business’s bank account and a portion will go to Fluz for their split. Fluz will be responsible for paying the vendors daily for the inventory sold as well as any management overhead expenses to run the business.
Am I responsible for fraud on the site?
No. Fluz will be responsible for the fraud review. Fluz will make all decisions on fraud screening based on our years of experience and breath of industry experience. We will use the same tools that protect our core system. If there are any fraudulent transactions, Fluz will be responsible for those losses.
Do I pay a hosting cost?
As long as you are using our store front solution, we will cover the hosting cost. You just need to promote it and get the sales. We do not want to see you lose money on this.
What type of content can I post?
Talk in your brand voice. Just no hateful, obscene or adult content. We respect your right to post as you see fit, however we will need to remove any brand that goes against our guidelines.
Can I still get a storefront without a registered business?
No. You need a registered business in order to operate a storefront. We can help get you incorporated.
Once I set up a storefront, does that mean I can have access to all the Fluz products?
We are subject to the reviews of our suppliers. We will need to stay within their guidelines. For some suppliers we have license to grant you permission to list their products. Others will require express approval of your site. We will work with you to facilitate this approval. Approvals to sell all products is not guaranteed.
