View allLiving our values everyday, the Fluz way
At Fluz, we believe in creating a culture where innovation thrives and excellence is a standard. It informs how we build, how we collaborate, and how we serve our community. Our mission has always been simple: empower people to maximize their money. These values are how we turn that mission into something real. Our core values are more than just a list. We see them as the operating system for how we work. They drive us, guide our decisions, shape our product, and keep us moving forward. Our core values inform how we build, collaborate, and serve our community. Our core values 1. Unconditional love for customers If we do not work for them, we don’t exist. We relentlessly try to figure out what matters to our customers and then do whatever it takes to deliver that and more. 2. Avoid evil; do good We know doing “good” is a deliberate action we must always take. Our actions follow our beliefs; our beliefs are formed through our actions. We strive to build trust with those who we connect with, including our team, members, merchants, partners, vendors and our community. 3. High standards now We believe high standards are teachable. In fact, people are pretty good at learning high standards simply through exposure. High standards are contagious. Bring a new person onto a high standards team, and they’ll quickly adapt. A high standard product is not something that is done once and quickly. It requires iterations and multiple revisions. We love tackling hard problems. We see something that is “impossible” as a fun challenge. 4. Take risk to make great products In taking a lot of shots it means we will miss the target...a lot. Best to not put good money after bad. If it is not working, move on to find something that will. 5. From the beginning, go over In order for Fluz to continue to be disruptive, we need to challenge the status quo, but we have to do so with guiding principles. At Fluz, a lot of the work we do here has never been done before, so there will be times where you will face adversity, but being resilient is critical to being successful. 6. Simplicity scales We are building Fluz so everyone can enjoy it. Keeping that simple, focused, and immediately understandable is hard work. We know that by sticking to this goal, we can make something really special. Keeping things simple will allow us to make the largest impact across the most people. 7. Fix problems once Develop long lasting meaningful solutions to complex problems. We do not hide the problems under the rug, even when it’s uncomfortable. We cannot keep any skeletons in the closet. The first step to fixing a problem is to recognize it and address it head on. 8. Be thrifty What you can get for $100, you can get for $90. Accomplish more with less. The only way to maximize value for all stakeholders is to eliminate waste. 9. Act from ownership We all take pride in what we do, think beyond our own job description, and do what’s best for the company overall rather than seek short term gains. We look at Fluz as if it is our own, because it is our own. 10. Rise above nature At Fluz, we make 1 + 1 = 3. It will never make sense how we accomplish so much with so little. We know the goal, but we do not profess to know the way. Despite that, we go forward with the confidence required to make it there.
